井上陽水｢イミテーション・コンプレックス」
CDアルバム『カシス』で「イミテーション・コンプレックス」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水 編曲/井上陽水・宮崎一哉
『カシス』は2002年7月に発売された、オリジナルでは最新のアルバム。だが、その11曲のうち、映画、CM、演劇で使われた3曲しか、発売以降のコンサートで歌われていないと思う。（間違っていたらすみません）
もしかして、新しい曲は歓迎されないと･･･？あるいは理解されないと･･･？
「井上陽水空想ハイウェイAct2」（NHK）で、高田渡、加川良、三上寛、友部正人たちのおよそ30年以上前の歌を聴いたとき、このひとたちは、いまどんなことを考えているのだろう、今の歌を聴きたい、と思った。
井上陽水のコンサートに来る人たちも、そうなのではないだろうか。もちろん、昔夢中になった曲を、何年または何十年ぶりで聴く。それは嬉しいに違いない。でも同時に、いまの陽水を感じたいはずだ、きっと。
井上陽水の歌詞には、逐語訳をするとさっぱりわからないものが多いが、この「イミテーション・コンプレックス」もそのひとつ。

とか、この意味を述べよと国語の試験にでたら、私はお手上げだ。ラブロマンスは見え隠れするのだけれど、結局

You lost me, buddy. I mean, I assume I get what youre declaring. I understand what you're saying, but you just seem to have overlooked that you'll find some other persons in the world who view this matter for what it definitely is and may well not agree with you. You may be turning away alot of persons who may have been fans of your weblog.
