井上陽水「プールに泳ぐサーモン」
CDアルバム『EVERY NIGHT』（1980年LP）で「プールに泳ぐサーモン」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水 編曲/鈴木茂。
水族館にサーモンはいるのだろうか。見た記憶はないが、いるのでしょうね、きっと。海水にいるのか、淡水にいるのか。大人でも“水族館好き”とか“動物園好き”のひとは多い。童心があるとかロマンチックな人という印象を与える。どちらも好んで行くほうではないわたしなどは、邪心が多いのか。
そもそも、サーモンと鮭はぴったりイコールなのか？どうでもよい前置きはやめて、曲を聴いてみよう。
♪クールな雨が チャポンチャポン

♪キュートな頃は ロマンスロマンス
ながら聞きにもよさそうな歌。プールサイドで流れていてもよいかも、競技用には似合わないが。特にサーモンについてのストーリー（笑い）があるのではなく、ロマンス、ライオンなどと共に、擬音語の仲間のように使われているようだ。
でも、「プールに泳ぐサーモン」て、妙に絵が気になる。ノルウェーではなく北海道の鮭か。一生懸命泳ぐ姿を想像すると、ちょっとかわいそうで、ちょっと笑えます。
