井上陽水「相当な決意」
井上陽水・奥田民生のCDアルバム『ショッピング』（1997年CD・LP)で「相当な決意」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水・奥田民生。この曲のVocalは陽水。
このアルバムは、詞も曲も二人の共作となっているが、たぶんどちらかが主に作っているのではないだろうか。この詞は奥田民生かと思うのだがどうだろう。
♪あくまで僕は 夢見る限り なにかと病気もせず
♪生まれたこの町で 屋根にもたれて
「屋根にもたれて」と書いてみて気づく。屋根に、もたれる？（笑い）
「あくまで」と始まる各節は、普通人の普通の町での生活というふうな歌詞だが、そんな引っかかりが随所にあって、おや？と思わせる。
地味な（地味を装った）この歌のハイライトはやはりこの「君」の微笑み。メロディも美しい。
♪君は心から微笑みながら
････・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
♪それは 本当 そして相当な美しい決意
奥田民生のコーラスがはいると、曲も民生っぽいような気がするが、さて？
「決意」を伴なってこそ愛は真実。
井上陽水と奥田民生のふたりによるライヴ・イベントがあるそうです。「手引きのようなもの」以外はあまり歌われない『ショッピング』からの曲も演奏されるのでしょうか。
