福井市での陽水コンサートは２年ぶり。2007年のツアーは桜満開の4月にここでスタートしたのだった。北陸の桜は実に美しい。
ホールはいつもフェニックスプラザで、この名前は、戦災や震災などで何度も火事にあったこの土地の復活を象徴しているのではないかと勝手に思っている。広い道路が縦横に走っているのも苦い経験からだと、これは以前福井の方に聞いた。
昨日梅雨入りを告げられたが、昼ごろ着くと晴れて暑い。駅前の開発は行く度に進んでいる。どうも北陸新幹線の予定があるらしく、駅も高架になっている。でも「どうせ通り道なんですけどね」とあるお店の方は言っていたが。
帰りに寄った小さなお寿し屋さんで、「これからコンサートというご家族が夕方寄られました。盛況でしたか？」と訊かれた。「『傘がない』を聞きたいと言ってたけど、うたわれましたか？」とも。今年のバンドは何人？とかとても熱心な質問にびっくり。県内の方のコーラス参加の話に関心を寄せ、いい想い出になるでしょうねと。
５曲終わって“弾き語り”へ。となる前の「とまどうペリカン」では、さまよいがちな気持ちが強力に引き戻される。聴く者ひとりひとりに ♪あなたライオン～と歌いかけているようだ。じわっと切なくなる。
バンドが退場して、デビュー当初のお話のあと、
「古い曲でなにか聞きたい曲があれば・・・」と陽水。と、あちらからもこちらからもリクエストの声が。わたしには「夏まつり」「傘がない」ぐらいしか聞き取れなかった。
「収拾がつかないので、予定にあった曲を」と「東へ西へ」。予定にない曲を聞きたかったところです（笑い）。この途中から、今堀さんのギターが控えめに入る。
最近は「新しいラプソディ－」がお休みなので、12弦ギターの登場は「最後のニュースだけ（多分）。でも舞台が暗いのでよく見えないんですよね。あ、もちろん、黒と白だけの照明、凄くいいです。
