井上陽水「ラブレターの気分で」

　CDアルバム『九段』で「ラブレターの気分で」を聴いた。作詞・作曲・編曲/井上陽水
　2000年のコンサートは『九段』からの選曲が多くて嬉しかった。有名曲ばかりではつまらない。この曲も歌われて、ライブで聴くほうがいいと思った。
　「ラブレター」というから手紙だろうが、「青い便箋」に書かれた切ない手紙（心もよう）でもないし、友達に書く想い出の手紙（長い坂の絵のフレーム）ともまったく違う。
　なんというか、捕まえにくい曲であり、詞である。イメージができそうなところで、ひょいと肩透かしをされる。また追いかける。たとえば

　　♪薔薇の　二文字は　花びらを

　うっとり聞き惚れていると、「カンガルー」やら「チタン」やら「No.4」（何？）やらと逃げ去ってしまう。最後はこう歌って終わる。むしろ楽しげに。

　　♪言葉をなくしたラブレターの気分で

　きっと手紙でさえないのでしょう。気分なんだもの。私のアンテナではキャッチできないだけ。もっと感度がよくないと。で、また追いかけるはめになるのです。
