井上陽水「チャイニーズ フード」
CDアルバム『LION ＆ PELICAN]』で「チャイニーズ フード」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水 編曲/川島裕二。
中華料理は誰もが好き。スープやおかゆのような一見シンプルなものに、思わぬ奥行きのある味を発見する。だが、家で作る中華というと、最近は、パッケージいりの「素」を使ったものを指すようだ。CMを見て、この曲を思いだした。

沢田研二への提供曲である。最初のフレーズに、なんかそれらしさを感じる。残念なことに沢田研二『ミス・キャスト』は持っていないので聞き比べられない。

曲は軽快に「踊り」ながら、「転がる」ように、「すべる」ように。拾い集めた言葉が曲に乗って陽水らしい魅力を発揮する。

♪オーシャンカラーの色彩の色で
意味の重なりの遊びも楽しい。

♪テレビチャンネル、サイレンのひびき
♪ため息までがフー
♪お茶まで熱くてフー
♪みんなで食べるステキなチャイニーズ フード
♪一緒に食べるおいしいチャイニーズ フード
まるでテレビCMを見るようですよね。その頃はなかったはずなのに。
この曲は『LION ＆ PELICAN』以外のどこにも収録されていない。いい曲なのになぜでしょうか。

この歌、詞がかわいいですよね。メジャーの端と端を持ってミートボールの転がる距離を測るんだって？って、誰が突っ込み入れるんだよ！とか思ったりして。（笑）
