井上陽水｢少年時代」
CDアルバム『ハンサムボーイ』で「少年時代」を聴いた。作詞/井上陽水 作曲・編曲/井上陽水・平井夏美 編曲（strings）/星勝。シングル『少年時代』カップリングは「荒鷲の歌」（1990年FLDF-01917）。
1990年に公開された映画「少年時代」の主題歌であること、1991年9月から放映されたSONYのビデオカメラのテレビCMの曲であることなど、説明する必要もないだろう。世代を通じて、陽水の曲の中で最もよく知られている曲である。「コンサート2005」でも全会場で歌われ、映画のロケ地富山県朝日町のみなさんも聴いたはず。
映画「少年時代」は、第二次世界大戦中に、主人公の少年が都会から富山県に疎開していた間の物語、と要約されよう。だが、底に流れていた少年同士の、友情と呼ぶにはあまりに初々しい愛が印象に残っている。その秘めた「愛」が表にでるときに初めて流れる「少年時代」の歌。涙させられるシーンであった。

♪青空に残された 私の心は夏模様
中学か高校か、教科書に載っているともきく。そうなれば歌詞の意味なども説明されるのだろうか。
♪夢が覚め 夜の中
♪長い冬が窓を閉じて
♪呼びかけたままで
♪夢はつまり想い出のあとさき
教えるひとでなくてよかった。わたしには逐語訳はできない。ただ、少年の叙情を宿した曲と、風と空と郷愁を抱く歌詞の、力に任せるしかない。
少年少女たちにももうそれなりの想い出はあるわけで、それぞれの心で感じて聴いているのだろう。
ところで、テレビの番組でこの歌を聴いたなかでの、わたしにとってのNo.1は、一本のトランペットとの演奏（と思う）だった。それがいつ、何の番組だったのかわからない。いまでは、自分の空想だったのかと思いかけている。
CDで聴くNo.1は、『Re-MASTER』の『extra-2』に収録されている、1999年12月壱岐文化ホールでのライヴ・ヴァージョンだ。会場と一緒に感動する。
昨年発売された『YOSUI TRIBUTE』では忌野清志郎が、草原の匂いのするような「少年時代」を歌っていて、こちらも好き。

君の誕生日に、聴いたことのない曲を贈ろうと思ったけど、上に書いたトランペットとの演奏が忘れられなくて「少年時代」を。
卒業演奏会を聴きに行かなくてごめん。生涯持ち続けてゆく後悔です。君のトロンボーンを聴く最後の機会だったのに。
あまりキレずに穏やかにすごしてね。君を愛しているいまの家族を悲しませないように。そんなことを願う資格のないわたしだけど。
