井上陽水「からたちの花」
CDアルバム『9.5カラット』（1984年LP)で「からたちの花」を聴いた。作詞/流れ星犬太郎 作曲/井上陽水 編曲/星勝。このアルバムは10曲中9曲が他者への提供曲で、「からたちの花」は樋口可南子のアルバム『からたちの花が、咲いたそうだよ。～ka・na・ko』のための曲。
最近のわたしの"愛読書”は《Yosui Magazine》だ。これは、たしか2001年のツアー会場で配られた雑誌で、アルバム『UNITED COVER』についてのインタビューや聞茶のテレビCM画像、当時の井上陽水公式サイトの紹介等盛り沢山な内容。“愛読”とは、黒鉄ヒロシの漫画を繰り返し見る・・・のではなく、陽水のアルバムが『断絶』から『UNITED COVER』まで、ジャケットの写真と曲目入りで掲載されているからだ。『ReMASTER』の『extra-1,2』の内容も載っている。日ごとに聴く曲を探したり確かめたりするために、毎日のように頁を繰る。発行は（株）キャンプ、Presennted by キリンビバレッジ（株）、また、フォーライフレコード（当時）、アサツーディ・ケイ、ユニバーサルミュージック、新星堂等の協力によるものだったようで、表紙に書かれた「It's free」の字がうれしい。（役に立つものをまことにありがとうございました）
この《Yosui Magazine》によると、昨日聴いた『バレリーナ』の次は1年後の『9.5カラット』となっている。ベスト10にランクインしていた「いっそセレナーデ」「飾りじゃないのよ涙は」「恋の予感」などが歌われているせいか、ミリオンセラーだそうだ。わたしもLPを買って、娘の友達のお姉ちゃんに貸してあげたっけ。
8曲目の「からたちの花」が思い出せないので聴いてみたが、この詞はどう読んだらよいのだろう。演歌っぽいでしょ？みたいなジョークなのだろうか。作詞者のペンネームもジョークっぽいし。

この繰り返し部分のメロディが耳に残った。特に演歌を意識したふうもなく歌われている。
からたちは蜜柑科、花は白で4月ごろに咲く。

YOSUI MAGAZINEはたしかあったと思うけど何処に逝ったんだろうか？（爆）ちなみにご存知だと思いますけど、流れ星犬太郎は樋口可南子さんの夫ですね。。
