井上陽水コンサート2007沖縄

沖縄コンベンションセンター 19：00開演
沖縄在住の友人と会う。
快晴の暑さに弱気のわたしは、「ホテルでランチしようよ」と言ったのだが、「沖縄まで来てそれはない！」と連れ出された。「暑いのはごめんだけど海を見たい」というわがままな願いを聞いてくれての行く先は、南のほうの東に突き出た半島（らしい）へのドライブ。
絶景のニライカナイ橋（この橋、川にかかっているのではない）を渡り、崖から海を見渡すお店で昼食。沿岸寄りの珊瑚礁とその向こうで海の色がまったく変り、間に波で白い線が引かれている。いくら見ても見飽きない濃い濃い色の海だった。
別れ際、夕方の予定はビーチで冷たいお酒を飲みながら日没を見てコンサートへ、と言うわたしに、それはどうかな？と笑って彼女は去った。
６時をすぎればいくらか日射しはやわらぐかと外へ出ると、甘かった！まだ真昼。トロピカルビーチは安全そうな海水浴場で、子供たちが海でばしゃばしゃ遊んでいる。もう夏休みなの？違うよね？
残念ながら、トロピカルな冷たいお酒をなどという大人な雰囲気ではない。せいぜい缶ビールか。木陰に坐って待ってみたが、海の向こうの太陽は沈む気配もない。コンサートがもっと遅かったらよかったのに。
その浜から会場は近い。途中で、ビーチの「遊泳は７時までです～」というアナウンスと、会場の「チケットをお持ちの方は～」という声が混ざり合って聞こえるほど。
今日は会場の気温も熱気も高い。
１曲目は「闇夜の国から」。２曲目が、前日と入れ替わって「東へ西へ」。
「ゼンマイじかけのカブト虫」を「よくわからない歌の始まりの曲」というふうに陽水は言うが、「東へ西へ」も充分わからない。制作年は知らないが、収録アルバムは「東へ西へ」が『センチメンタル』1972年で、「ゼンマイじかけ・・・・」（『二色の独楽』1974）より２年前だ。『センチメンタル』の中では異色だと思う。あえて矛盾した詞、テンポによって変って聞こえる、陽水らしい曲ですよね。
「沖縄は何回目か・・・・まあ4年ぶりなんですけど」この「4年ぶり」は、その朝の『琉球新報』の“はと笛”なるコラムに載った前夜のコンサート記事を引いての言葉だろうが、「・・・」のところで、何を言おうとしたのだろうか。その4年の間に、ＮＨＫの番組の撮影があったはず。話さない胸中を察する資格はないのだけれど。
脈絡のない話ぶりは、いまや陽水の持ち味として認識されているらしいが、この日はまた特に拍車がかかっていたような気がする。
｢夏まつり」から優等生的（私感です）な曲が続いて、会場の暑さもあってちょっと昼間の疲れが出るが、「飾りじゃないのよ涙は」で立ち直りかけてバンドの部へ。
「夕立」 目が覚めるようだった。歌詞を読むと「Ah-」と記されているくり返しを、「ワーフ」または「ワーブ」と唄う。それは今日だけではないが、今日の声と唄う姿を観て聴いていると、どこか向こうへ“ワープ”してしまいそうだ。まだ、これから聴く方もあるだろうから詳しくは書かないが、ロックな「夕立」わたしももう一度聴きたいです。
実は帰って来てからずっと、仕事中も、電車でも、歩きながらも、食べながらも、芝居を観ながらも（こらこら）、映画ダイハード３をＴＶで観ながらも（時間の無駄だった）、この日のコンサートを表現する言葉を探していた。
そうやって今日まで引っ張ってみたが、凄い！とか、迫力！とか幼稚な言葉しか浮ばない。
まあとにかく、「夕立」から怒涛のような（これも陳腐）何曲もが続いて、狂気の「氷の世界」へなだれこむ。観客は興奮してみんな手拍子。
わたしもご近所と一緒に手を叩いていたのだが、途中で止まって手を合わせたまま聴く。あまりの激しさに呆然として、息をするのも忘れるようだった。
唄った陽水はちゃんと正気で（当たり前）ハーモニカも投げて、なんとすぐ近くへ。運動神経皆無、闘争心欠如のわたしはキャッチできなかったが、動揺して次の「傘がない」の初めを聞き損ねてしまった。未熟である。
冒頭で言っていた「奄美大島から一週間の旅の最後の日」は、アンコールの「いっそセレナーデ」でも鎮められないまま、熱く終わったのでした。

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and all. But imagine if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this site could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche. Amazing blog!
