井上陽水「８月の休暇」
CDアルバム『EVERY NIGHT』（1980年LP)で「８月の休暇」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水 編曲/井上鑑。1978年発売のシングル（EP)『ミスコンテスト』のB面でもあった（編曲/星勝）。
田舎があっていいね、とずっと言われ続けている。ただで休暇を過ごせるのね、という意味だったり、懐かしい土地があっていいね、という意味だったり。「兎追いしかの山 小鮒釣りしかの川」ふうのイメージで言っているのだろう。そのような子供時代を過ごさなかった私には、むしろ「故郷は遠くにありて想うもの」のほうが近い。自然の景観はいまもほっとして見るが、どこの誰々と特定される環境では、所作に困ってしまうのだ。まあいろいろと義務があって、年に何度かは帰るのだが。

海での休暇。ゆったりした波のようなリズム。寄せ返すリズムは単調だが、砕け方がぜんぶ違っているのだ、波って。

♪友達に サヨナラ
♪恋人も みんな サヨナラ
衒いのない歌詞でメロディーもやさしいが、歌うのは難しそう。
「サヨナラ」しながらも、人恋しくて電話を待ったり「ラジオ」を聞いたりするものなんですよね、旅って。

編曲者も違うし聴いてみたいものですが、CD化されていません。残念です。

『EVERY NIGHT』（1980年LP)では「８月の休暇」、1978年発売のシングル（EP)『ミスコンテスト』のB面では「八月の休暇」です。「八月の休暇」の方はCD化されてないんで、例えばサザンやビーズのようにシングルCD全リリースとかのチャンスがあれば「ミスコンテスト」は買う方向で考えますけどね。。（笑）

はっはっは。これは１本とられたなぁ～と。（陽水風）
10年聴き続けるとはちょっと違って、10年後もしくは20年後におもむろに引っ張り出してきて聴こうという気になるってモンですよ。いや、マジで聴けると思いますよ。。ジャケットもなかなか好きですし。ジャケットって言えば『二色の独楽』も本来のモノで出して欲しいです。
そういや～以前出来ていたんだけど、PCの不備でずっと出来なくなっていてようやく出来るように回復しました....「いのうえようすい」の一発変換♪（笑）
